I was looking for all the really large files on my Mac and couldn't figure out how to do it. After searching the web, I found this easy solution. When you have no other windows open click on cmd and F. This should open the finder window.
Click on the dropdown that says "Kind" and then select "Other" off of the list.
Once you do that, a popup of sort comes up and you have to scroll through it till you get to "Size". Select it.
You will then be able to select a couple of items.
The first is you need to change the drop down from "equals" to "is greater than". Then you can put in a file size value that you want to look for.
The result will start filtering in below.
